Old mansard-roofed beamed village pub, dating back to 1623, with a nice beer garden. Guest ales are always available, such as local Penpont Brewery and Tintagel Brewery offerings, as well as Stowford Press and Old Rosie ciders. Generous, reasonably priced pub food includes a popular Sunday carvery. There is a big log fire, slate floor restaurant and public bar with another fire, friendly staff and not forgetting the ghost - former landlady Peggy Bray!
