JULY IS LAUNCESTON’S CLASSICAL MUSIC MONTH!
The first concert takes place in the town hall on Sunday 4 July at 8:00. The string quartet, consisting of Krysia Osostowicz, Juliette Roos, Hannah Shaw, and Christoph Richter are playing:
Haydn String Quartet in C major, Op.50, No.2
Schumann String Quartet No.1 in A minor, Op.41
The performance lasts approximately an hour, with no interval

Sunday 11 July sees the BRODSKY QUARTET joined by Laura van der Heijden (winner of BBC young Musician of the Year 2012) playing:
Haydn: String Quartet op 20 no 2 in C
Tristan Schulze: Four Pieces from around the world, for String Quartet with Young Violins/Cellos
Schubert: “Trout” Variations (arr. Brodsky Quartet)
Schubert: String Quintet in C, with two cellos
On the afternoon of the concert is a free activity for families and children, all are welcome. It begins at 4.30pm with a special Free Workshop for children, young students and their parents.
